Plansee had three reasons to celebrate this fall: 35 years for our site in Esashi, Japan, 140 for PTA in France, and 85 for Plansee USA in Franklin.

The respective sites marked these milestones with celebratory ceremonies attended by invited guests, valued partners, and employees and their families in large numbers.

Our Japanese colleagues celebrated 35 years in business on September 13, with numerous guests coming together for the occasion at our site in Esashi, including former employees and the region's mayor. Several employees who have been with Plansee Japan since its early days shared their memories and experiences. Isao Nishida, Managing Director of Plansee Japan, took the opportunity to express his thanks to the workforce: "The success we have enjoyed at Plansee Japan is down to our people. It's thanks to their commitment that we can celebrate this anniversary. We are proud to have been a key supplier of precision components for the electronics, medical, automotive, lighting, and semiconductor industries for several decades now and want to continue this success story in the future."

Plansee Tungsten Alloys in Saint Pierre en Faucigny, France, celebrated its company anniversary on September 14, 2024. Nearly 200 guests came together at a garden party in honor of the site's 140 years in business. "Our 140th birthday is something we can be very proud of at Plansee Tungsten Alloys. We want to take this opportunity to thank our employees, who have been a huge part of PTA's longstanding success story," said Andreas Feichtinger, Executive Director of Plansee.  The French company specializing in tungsten composites and alloys was founded in 1884 in Lyon under the name J.Bocuze & Cie S.A and has been part of Plansee since 1999.
